It was really great to hear YOUR take on the “why.” Many people have heard the idea that the “why” is important, but you articulated it in a new way and took the concept deeper through sharing your personal about your brother. Thank you VERY much for that. Everyone’s story is different, so when a concept such as the “why” is shared through YOUR personal story, the impact is more profound. The concept is the same, but the example is DIFFERENT, or the REASON is different, which allows us to hear the same thing in a different way. Your short exercise of feeling the pain of NOT achieving your goal and then reminding us that there will be pain EITHER way was a GREAT reminder of a quote of Jim Rohn, which I’m sure you know: “We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.”
